My work focus has primarily been in community outreach and management. I worked a clerical job for the city of Los Angeles, then had the honor of working on the 2011 Measure L campaign with the Los Angeles Public Libraries and the Librarians’ Guild. Having spent most of my life in sunny SoCal, I ventured around the world for a bit. My favorite country so far is the Netherlands. During my visit, it took no time at all till I found myself falling in love with the Dutch culture and language. Meer bitterballetjes, alstublieft!

One of my next stops was Asia. I brushed off what Tagalog I learned from my parents and hit Manila. There, I spent some time working with BPO firms and eventually got the chance to work with some very cool, now renowned, American startup companies. It was there that I discovered the wonders of agile. Later, as the first hire for a smaller startup, I got the opportunity to do hands-on work and dive deep into the magical world of digital marketing.

From there, the hands of fate led me to meet the wonderful SafeAtLast and SmallBizGenius families. It’s been my pleasure helping both companies build communities. My role is to grow our brand and help each one further their goals of sharing knowledge in the areas of security and business. Give our sites a visit and see the fruits of our labor first-hand!
