Natasha Benjamin
Natasha Benjamin has spent more than ten years working on coastal and ocean resource management. Her background is in fisheries management and has strong expertise in science, policy, partnership building, research, writing, and project management.
Ms. Benjamin is Policy & Conservation Manager at Marine Applied Research & Exploration (MARE) and was Program Manager for the Institute for Fisheries Resources (IFR) where she managed the California Sustainable Fisheries Project and the Sustainable Seafood program.
Ms. Benjamin has expertise in working collaboratively with fishing communities, disseminating scientific information and fisheries management reform. She is also a member of the City of El Cerrito’s Environmental Quality Committee, which works toward developing local environmental programs.
