Natasha Burton

Natasha Burton is a freelance journalist whose regularly writes for Maxim, Cosmopolitan.com, MSN, WomansDay.com, iVillage.com, and Mom.me, among others. She's the author of two books, 101 Quizzes for Couples and The Little Black Book of Big Red Flags.

While she is best known for her self-deprecating personal essays about relationships, Natasha is also a seasoned reporter who has covered breaking news stories like the Virginia Tech tragedy and penned features on issues like the effect of the Facebook IPO on the Silicon Valley divorce rate.

She has previously worked on-staff as a writer and editor for The Huffington Post and as a founding editor at Glo.com, a women's lifestyle site partnered with MSN and Hearst magazines. Her work has also appeared in People, Glamour and Daily Variety, as well as online at FHM.com and ModernMom.com.

Since publication of The Little Black Book of Big Red Flags in 2011, Natasha has appeared as a relationships expert for Wall Street Journal Radio, Playboy Radio, "The Mark & Brian Show" on 95.5 KLOS, Fox 5 San Diego, Cosmopolitan, Match.com's HappenMag, Essence.com and HollywoodLife.com, in addition to other broadcast, print and online outlets in the U.S., U.K., Italy and Australia.

Natasha holds a Master's in creative writing from USC, where she formerly taught composition. She lives in Santa Barbara, CA with her fiancé, who graciously allows her to write about their love life when the occasion calls for it.
