Natasha Elisha Campbell
Design Strategist in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Born in British Columbia, Natasha spent most of her childhood between the United Kingdom and home. She believes her creative awareness stems from exposure to vast socio-cultural differences between the cities. Her career started in the arts, growing into design. At 17, she took the Fashion Marketing Program and learned about the fashion business, choosing to make this part of her journey. At 21, Natasha started her freelance business and produced fashion shows in Vancouver, New York, and China while finishing her second Fashion Program in Merchandising. She then joined the fashion department at Blanche MacDonald Centre, teaching Fashion Show Production and contributing to creative projects.
Continually challenging herself, Natasha completed her Bachelor of Business in Entrepreneurial Leadership. At the Polytechnic University, she won two international Business Case competitions and was awarded international best speaker. While completing her studies, she established her business in creative services for numerous local, global, and celebrity brands, including MILK Studios NY, Grey Group Canada, Hudson's Bay, AVEDA, Toyota, Rose Charities, and the Eco Fashion Week 81Lb Challenge.
With her ongoing desire to support the emerging creative economy, she became Head of the Applied Arts, leading the Interior Design, Fashion Marketing, and Fashion Design programs at an integrated visual art institution. Natasha then chose to further develop her skills through achieving her Master of Science in Strategic Design and Management at Parsons, The New School. Currently, Natasha resides at the Wilson School of Design within various faculties and contributes as a Board Chair for ArtSpeak Gallery. She has been a mentor for the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs and continues her creative projects that focus on interdisciplinary design methods.
