My role models include Superman, Wonder Woman and my dad. Why? Because all of them represent Hope, a chance for harmony and peace. I grew up with my nose in comic books believing that one day I too would adorn a cape and mask.
Now grown up, I work as, with, and amongst every day heros, trying to inspire hope and drive community change. As the Executive Director for Hope's Garden, eating disorders resource and support centre, I am aware of the importance of acceptance, encouragement, compassion and love for all. It is my job to create AWARENESS, help encourage VOICE and to provide HOPE.
