I have been teaching for five years and have had the pleasure of working with many amazing educators. I have taught both 2nd and 3rd grade. I am fortunate enough to attend many professional development trainings. I am trained in Math Recovery courses 1 and 2.2. I have also attended Wisconsin Statewide Mathematics Initiative conferences as well as other math conferences. Through these numerous PD sessions I have an extensive knowledge of math education.

My knowledge is not just limited to math though! I am also trained in Literacy Collaborative (a balanced literacy framework) and collaborate as a lab site with Teacher's College Reading and Writing Project.

I hope to provide some professional development in the areas of math and literacy to other teachers. I believe that we must invest in our teachers and give them the knowledge and tools they need to be successful.
