Nate Ison

Hi, I’m Nate. I’m a Project Manager at Kimray Inc. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I am also a part-time Ministry Director for Celebrate Recovery at Memorial Road Church of Christ in Edmond, Ok.

I’ve worn many hats in my career—Draftsman, Architect, Mechanical Design Engineer, and most recently, the Project Manager for the Training, Change Management, and Communications workstream for Phase 2 of a $21.5M ERP implementation.

For the first 15 years of my career, I identified as a designer of things, processes, and places. While I still love design, I discovered that what energizes me most is contributing to the impact major projects deliver. In 2022, I moved into the project management space by joining a recently established PMO as a Project Coordinator and soon after began pursuing my PMP certification. I earned my PMP in October 2023, scoring Above Target in all three domains.

I live in Edmond, Oklahoma with my wife Chellie, who I've been happily married to since 2004. We are blessed with two children, Brixton and Ila, a chi-weenie named Zoey and a dalmatian named Nova.

True to my calling as a designer, I was fortunate enough fulfill a life long dream to design and build my own house in 2019. Details about our build can be seen at the Instagram link below.
