Nate Strauser

I am a systems and software engineer with experience ranging from leading corporate IT development teams for a Fortune 100 corporation to building products from scratch for startups. I worked at Lockheed Martin for 7 years, rising to Technical Lead, overseeing a team of developers and contractors working on multiple large scale projects simultaneously. Since then, I have partnered with multiple startups to build their products.

I am well versed in many programming languages and frameworks, but prefer to work in node.js, specifically Meteor, which allows me to actually focus on building value added features and not spending time on the same old backend/wiring/integration problems. I was an early adopter of the Meteor platform, using it to build commercial applications since 2012. I also run We Work Meteor, the premier job board and developer listing for the Meteor community.
