I'm a programmer by day, author and daddy by night. I work for a large non-profit organization in the Salt Lake City area.

I'm the author of Painless Vim, a book that seeks to help people learn the vim text editor without going entirely insane in the process. The book is currently for sale even though I haven't quite finished writing it, which is one of the miracles of the modern age.

I'm a huge command line nerd, and I love tinkering with things like tmux and zsh and all the millions of command line tweaks that make nerd life easier.
