Graphic design wasn’t my first career choice. I had two portfolios full of fashion design ideas to share with the Art Institutes of Fort Lauderdale. Born and raised by a french woman from Haiti had its influence on my style of design. I wanted to make everyone beautiful. While learning about the various programs available, graphic design presented itself and I was intrigued. Designing dresses is definitely sexy, but designing messages that can shape the world is compelling. I was sold. I enrolled. I graduated. This was just the beginning.

During my years of designing various marketing materials for various businesses I was approached with the opportunity to design a powerpoint presentation for a natural sleeping beverage known as DreamWater by Vincent Porpiglia. A $25,000 grant was at stake, but no pressure right. Fortunately, I work great under pressure. I completed the project. Vincent presented and won the grant. A few months later DreamWater was selected to appear on NBC Shark’s Tank. Guess who had to design the package and presentation? There was $500K now at stake, but again no pressure right. By now working under pressure had developed into my most valuable asset. Vincent was offered a deal by an investor on the show and once again I nailed another big project. DreamWater is now distributed nationwide.

Graphic design has evolved. It 's not about a pretty logo anymore. It’s branding a business and I love it. I can make anything look beautiful. Clean, classy, and creative, those are my superpowers. Trade-show exhibits and in-store design and development is my playground. From beauty salons and spas to non-profits and attorney offices, my passion for beautiful graphic art has developed my talent as a brand expert. Do you have a business idea or design project?
