Nathalie Davies

I'm a third year student studying my final year of Fashion and Textile Design at the University of the West of England.

I specialise in 2D Textiles Print Design for Fashion and throughout my degree I have learned and self taught myself some invalueable skills which heavily lie in the digital aspect of design including Photoshop, Illustrator InDesign, AVA, Microsoft Word and Powerpoint. I am also able to use both Windows and Macintosh computers.

I have a background in photography which enables me to have a better understanding of the digital world overall.

Although I am specialised in digital print, I do have skills in hand printing such as screen printing, working with dyes, and techniques such as devoré, discharge, discharge illumination, flocking, foiling, puff binding etc.

I am inspired by everything around me and I also like to photograph in my spare time with my Nikon D3100 camera.

I would love to work in the photography or textile industry but my ultimate job would be collaborating the two, as I am doing during my degree.
