She is an active listener, is dedicated and responsible, capable of innovative thinking and precise decision-making. Her two biggest passions are music and community service.
During her tenure with Sony Music, Nathalie recognized that there was no formal peer support system in place for employees and that few resources existed for working parents. As a working mother herself, she knew that her peers were likely experiencing many of the same challenges that she was, and that they would benefit from an in-house network.
This is what inspired her to create The Village, an employee network for parents and caregivers. The idea was embraced by Sony Human Resources and Nathalie immediately began recruiting a team of five volunteer employees to help establish the first network of its kind within the Sony organization.
Her team gained immediate traction by developing meaningful programming that supported a wide range of needs and interests including information and support for caregivers of those with special needs, as well as, providing resources for those planning to start a family, parents of newborns thru 18+. The Village was so well received that the topics and events expanded to include LGBTQ+, Black history month, Hispanic heritage month and many other culture moments. The team also established an online platform to connect The Village’s 300+ members from across Sony North America. The hub served as a central communication point that allowed members to discuss important issues and create groups specific to their needs. Given employees were working from home this online tool proved to be meaningful and necessary.
