With over a decade of experience in real estate investing, I have developed a deep understanding of the industry and maximizing returns on investment through renovation, both in equity and monthly rentals. I currently work for my uncle's company, Alumarch, where I estimate aluminum architectural products with a woodgrain finish. My career journey includes roles at PC Financial - Points and Rewards Representative, Ottawa Construction and Demolition - Assistant project manager and Lush Designs Australia - Weekend store manager.
Throughout my career, I've successfully invested in six rental properties with sixteen units, delivering high rates of return for my investors and repaying their initial investments within a six-year period. These investments now provide yearly cash flow payouts and ongoing appreciation with all of the initial investment paid back out of the properties. In my day job, I’ve created a series of fencing calculators in Excel to automate the calculation of material requirements for our fencing product lines based on design variables.
My primary motivation is to succeed by creating success for my investors and great living spaces for my tenants. My career goals include using the active income from my day job to continue building my real estate businesses, aiming to grow from investing in duplexes and fourplexes to larger multifamily projects. I aspire to make my role in my day job an integral part of whichever business I work for, becoming a go-to person for problem-solving and developing my skills to be a highly in-demand member of the team.
Outside of work, I am an avid camper who loves spending time outdoors. Biking and kayaking are some of my favorite activities. I have a keen interest in business management, learning how businesses rise, scale, and what leads to their downfall. I also enjoy philosophical conversations and diving into the nuances of complex topics.
