Nathan Schlies

Sports fascinate me. My favorite professional team in the whole world is the Green Bay Packers. I have watched their games religiously since I was a little kid. I'm a die hard braves fan as well. Andrelton Simmons is the man. I try to make it to as many Braves games a year as I can. I am extremely excited for football season here in Athens. I can’t wait to spend Saturdays in Sanford Stadium cheering on the Dawgs. I'm extremely excited for the LSU game. I am currently the reigning champ in my fantasy football league and I intend to defend the title. I played Soccer and Football in high school. I miss high school sports a lot. I've made most of my friends through sports. Sports taught me lots of things like leadership, how to handle adversity, courage, respect, and toughness. I will carry these lessons with me throughout my life. Sports have given me entertainment, exercise, an outlet, friends, and enjoyment. I plan to continue playing sports by competing in triathlons with the ultimate goal of finishing an ironman.
