Profile
I am an ambitious, hardworking BA Hons Film & Media Production graduate who studied at Sheffield
Hallam University and I have a high level of professionalism and dedication and bring a great degree of
confidence and enthusiasm to the working environment whilst retaining a willingness to learn.
I am mainly looking for relevant employment within the film, media or marketing industries
I have previous experience in several different industries from working for others to freelance work, I
have incorporated everything I learned from them to become a hard working, organised, punctual
individual who can think outside of the box. I have also have high standards of customer service whether
it be a customer or a client.
I also have a full UK driving licence.
Relevant Experience
Location Marshall- September 2012: I was a paid location marshall on the Kenneth Branagh directed
feature ‘Jack Ryan’ starring Chris Pine and Keira Knightley which is due to be released late 2013. My
tasks included blocking off the set in Liverpool from the public, communicating with other marshalls and
location assistants and various other tasks.
Scriptwriter(2012-Present): I am currently involved with a project in Brighton writing a childrens
program that isn’t titled as of yet. It is due for release in mid to late 2013.
Program(2012) Screenwriter/Sound Design: Program is a short filmed and set in London. I co-wrote
this piece with the director Jake Robinson. As well as being the sound recorder for the dialogue I also
edited the sound and wrote the score. It was screened at Showroom Cinema in Sheffield in front of a
large audience and is expected to have many festival showings.
The Choice(2012)Sound Assistant:I was a sound assistant on this short directed by Will Bann in
Sheffield. Most of my input included boom operating and setting up the radio microphones with the head
sound designer.
Broadcast-Legal(2011) Producer/Sound/Co-Director/Writer:Broadcast-Legal is another project with
Jake Robinson which was shown as an installation gallery piece at BLOC in Sheffield.
Cotton Frequency(2011) Director/Producer/Sound:Short experimental film about a girl who is naively
being filmed. This is the first of a serie
