Nathan-Paul Davis is a local saxophonist in the Akron/Cleveland area. A native of Cleveland, Nathan-Paul attend Cleveland Heights Highschool. After graduating 2005, Nathan-Paul attended The University of Akron to study saxophone with Richard Shanklin and Jazz with Jack Schantz. Nathan-Paul has performed with such musical groups/acts: Herbie Hancock, Joe Lovano, Jiggs Whigam, George Mraz, Walter Blanding, Wesley Bright and The Hi-Lites, The Woovs, Flow Spontaneous, Ahi-Nama and Dave Banks Big Band. Nathan-Paul was also part of the famous musical “Avenue Q” at Cain Park where he doubled on all the woodwinds (Clarinet, Flute and Saxophone). One of Nathan’s side projects is called “Duo Collaborations”. This project came from Nathan-Paul's desire to expand his musical taste and abilities to work with more local musicians on an intimate level.
