Nathaniel Washington

Denver, CO

Nathaniel Washington is a forward-thinking violist, and digital-culturist.

A pupil of musical art and academia, Nathaniel has a diverse background in both.

He studies viola under the tutelage of Basil Vendryes at the University of Denver where he is pursuing a dual major in

Music and Emergent Digital Practices.

He has performed locally in chamber ensemble performances including several performances at Central Presbyterian

Church and various other performances around the Denver-metro area, namely with Opera on Tap. He has

international performance experience in England, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and is a member of the

University of Denver’s Lamont Symphony Orchestra.

At the University of Denver, Mr. Washington has been given the opportunity to pursue his two passions, music and

technology, and as a result is exposed to a gamut of perspectives.

In addition to his musical experience, Nathaniel is a regular volunteer worker at the University of Denver Bridge Project

where he tutors and mentors at-risk youth.
