Nathaniel Nolan

I studied and worked professionally in Photography in London for many years, before my studies in Architecture at Oxford Brookes University.

As a child I was quite shy and I used photography as a way of engaging capturing intimate moments of my family and friends lives, to me this way I could connect through observation.

Over the years I evolved this experience into what I love through my artistic and professional life. In my work, my palette is diverse whether it be moulding clay in sculpture or mixing colours in painting,or capturing a moment in time, space and light, each project feeds of the other. This constant direct engagement and research with contexts is crucial in this dialogue.
