Hello, my name is Nathan Lugo and I am a student, Innovator, and Leader currently living in Chicago, Illinois. I attend Nazareth Academy Catholic College Prep High School in La Park, Illinois. My interests range from sports to cutting edge technology. I am also interested in entrepreneurship, volunteering, and the arts. Integrating what I love to do and what I’m good at with what the world needs and what I can be paid for is my goal in life. Exploration of what I can achieve and demanding the only best of myself is my goal every day. I am also a kind spirit, helping others is a virtue that I live by. I live this through service such as F.I.S.H. Prom, a prom event for teens with disabilities. My upbringing and life experiences equipped myself with the tools needed to accomplish any and every goal I set for myself. I don’t come from privilege, my ethnicity is oppressed, I’ve been exposed to poverty, my parents are divorced, and I have a sibling with severe disabilities. I don’t let these experiences define who I am, but I do utilize them to make myself an better person, athlete, student, and innovator.
