Orange County high school students are also being sought out by nonprofit organizations within their place, if it wasnt a big enough benefit to grow up next-door to the Magic Kingdom. As part of Disneylands 50th anniversary celebrations, students from Orange County Schools have the opportunity to be involved in community outreach projects with local nonprofits.

Show Your Personality

The Show Your Character competition promotes local nonprofits to style jobs that get high school students involved. Beginning in 2004 and continuing through 2006, Orange County nonprofits submit project proposals designed to help local teenagers hand back to their area. If chosen, the nonprofits are used with Orange County high school students and provided they to the resources needed to c-omplete a community service project in their communities.

The California curriculum standards must be met by projects for the competition for Service Learning Projects. In this way, academic credit is earned by students while learning important skills from nonprofit groups. In alliance with your business, students must gain an understanding of the way the requirements of the city you serve are recognized. Students must develop an understanding of the partnership between the community and the school and the worthiness of school-community partnerships. Create a Sense of Social Duty

Students should be able to demonstrate an
