National Piano Trio
The National Piano Trio was formed by three friends and colleagues; violinist Corey Gemmell, cellist Wolf Tormann and pianist Sandra Mogensen,. They started performing chamber music together in faculty concerts at the National Music Camp of Canada and realized they shared a common vision and passion for the piano trio repertoire. Officially formed in the summer of 2010 under the auspices of National Music Camp, their performances have variously been described as "electric”, “passionate”, and filled with “a common sense of drive and purpose”. As resident chamber ensemble of National Music Camp the National Piano Trio has a great interest in coaching and bringing young players into the exciting world of chamber music. The trio’s members are highly acclaimed and accomplished soloists and chamber musicians individually.
