Murray Waas is an independent journalist, investigative reporter, and essayist. He has worked as a reporter or editor for Reuters, National Journal, and Vice. Waas has also written for Vox, the New Yorker, and the Atlantic.

Murray Waas has been a winner ofthe Goldsmith Pirze, a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, and winner of the Barlett & Steele Business Investigative Reporting Prize.
