Natividad Sánchez

I am Senior Communications Manager with Oceana in Europe, which means I work with a great team of people aiming at protecting our oceans and stopping overfishing and illegal fishing. My job largely consists of a) translating scientific findings and figures into something understandable that raises awareness and eventually changes policies, and b) coordinating a small group of people working hard in the same direction.

Before joining an environmental non-profit I worked for several media and also as a PR consultant. Nature, science, cultures, art… as long as I can learn something interesting and tell the story, I’m not worried about topics that are ‘too difficult’.
