NativeTripper
Helloooo and welcome to NativeTripper, a blog that attempts a new take on the latest news, politics and society. I will be combining my passion of political debate, philosophy and creative ideas along with more light-hearted lifestyle posts.
I didn’t really start to understand Politics until the 2010 general election and this was of my own accord. It became a passion when I started studying Economics at university and was inspired by my peers and tutors to start this blog.
I found many people of voting age either had no interest or didn’t know what each party’s values and beliefs were. Here in Britain or at least at the secondary schools in my borough, Politics was taught as a sub topic at A Level general studies and was tediously taught at that.
I think a major concern surrounding young people today is the lack of voting in the UK. Young people are bearing the brunt in a time when policies are being targeted towards benefiting the aged and wealthy, and I believe this is because not enough young people are voting to get their voices heard.
So NativeTripper is a reflective blog for myself to look back on over the years. I think it’ll be interesting to see if my own morals change over time and for what reasons. However if, along the way I can get just one young person interested in the world and society we live in, I will call this a success.
Feel free to roam around and comment on anything you may or may not agree with, a little debate is a good debate.
NativeTripper.
I’d just like to add that the opinions expressed are my own and any external sources will be noted. Please do not take offence towards what I post, that is not my intention, I’m just very passionate about my beliefs and am open minded enough to accept counter opinions.
