GUARNERI VIOLIN is a part of Native Instruments' Cremona Quartet series. While Antonio Stradivari may be the most well-known violin maker, many professionals consider Guarneri del Gesù to be the finest. Accompanying Stradivari's Vesuvius violin, this collection includes Guarneri del Gesù's 'Prince Doria' violin, built in 1734.
During the detailed recording process for this virtual instrument, the city of Cremona came to a standstill as the council closed roads and urged residents to remain silent. Inside the Auditorium Giovanni Arvedi, designed by acoustician Yasuhisa Toyota, Hamburg's e-instruments captured every note using 32 carefully selected microphones, ensuring a digital recreation of this historic masterpiece.
GUARNERI VIOLIN features 20 professionally played articulations, each with up to five legato transitions. The Performance-Captured Vibrato accurately models the vibrato technique of a skilled player, while the Stereo Phase-Aligned Dynamic Crossfades ensure seamless transitions between dynamic layers. These features make GUARNERI VIOLIN one of the most realistic solo violin recreations available.

Once installed, GUARNERI VIOLIN includes two NKI instruments. Click the Instruments banner to access the NKIs and load them in KONTAKT or KONTAKT PLAYER.
Guarneri Violin Multi Mic: Allows fine-tuning of different microphone positions and room noise.
Guarneri Violin: A stereo mix version that saves CPU resources and is great for quick compositions.
The only difference in the interface is the mixer tool, which is available only in the multi-mic version.
