NATORIA D. HUBBARD

Natoria D. Hubbard received her B.A. from the University of South Florida in 2006. Ms. Hubbard received her M.S. from Troy University in 2008 and her Juris Doctor degree (with honors) from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 2012. She is admitted to practice in Florida.

Natoria’s goal is to serve clients with compassion and empathy. Prior to attending law school, Natoria worked as a case manager for children and families involved in dependency court as a result of abuse and/or neglect. She also worked in placement, helping to secure out of home placements for children who were removed from their homes as a result of abuse. Natoria’s legal experience is varied. During law school, Natoria served clients in the criminal law clinic who had been accused of committing misdemeanor offenses in the 19 Judicial Circuit in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She also had the opportunity to work as an intern in the felony division for the Public Defender’s Office of the 13 Judicial Circuit in Tampa, Florida. Ms. Hubbard began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit in Lee County. During her tenure as an Assistant State Attorney, she managed a docket with over 400 cases and obtained jury trial experience. She concentrated her efforts in the Domestic Violence Unit and developed an affinity for helping victims and relied immensely on the efforts of victim advocates.

Natoria is also well versed in all aspects of Family Law, including uncontested dissolutions of marriage, child support, equitable distribution, domestic violence injunctions, and timesharing. She understands the need to minimize the long lasting impact that divorce can have on families, especially children. Natoria is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator.

Additionally, Natoria serves as an adjunct instructor and has taught numerous criminal justice and legal studies classes. She has a passion for teaching and helping students reach their educational and personal goals.
