Natta Nasamran

Hi Everyone! My Name is Natta.

I’m originally from Bangkok, Thailand. I moved to Austin in 2005 just after high school to study electrical engineering at the University of Texas. After getting over the homesickness and culture shock (who eats tacos for breakfast?), I fell in love with the city of Austin and couldn’t bear to leave.

I make my living by coming up with innovative ways to break things. I am a product and test engineer at Silicon Labs (the green buildings in the background). I design test hardware and write software to enable mass production of integrated circuit (IC) products and ensure their functionality.

I hope to transition from breaking high-tech products to building them. I aspire to pursue a career in product management so that I can bridge the technical and business worlds and create products that lead to the advancement of human knowledge.

I enjoy channeling my creativity by cooking and baking. When I’m not experimenting in the kitchen, I love to jog around the Town Lake Hike-and-Bike Trail.
