Naufal Amjad

I am going to change the world. It is as simple as that, I am the kind of person who is sick and tired of the people who keep on sitting in their comfortable seating places and complaining about the woes of the world. We all have the inherent ability to change and affect the world we live in. All we have to do is act and we are the force of positive change that everyone complains is lacking in the world. With that said I must admit my relative newness in terms of actually tackling the curious mix of problems faced by the individual and society.
I have had the fortune of seeing a whole load of different cultures and people so unique that I have had no other choice than to soak up all the little good and great things I am surrounded by. The good fortune came in the form of a college, a scholarship and a journey across a few seas. This journey started at United World College of the Adriatic in a little village in Italy called Duino. With 180 countries represented in the 200 odd students, I was thrown into a mix of diverse opinions with the one aim of understanding one another.
I have learned, loved and lost in my two years there and am constantly realizing how much I have been molded by the experience. The experience of constantly being surprised at how much I just do not know, and how easy it is to find out. The experience of having someone reply to an argument by posing the reply through the act of making and serving tea.
I am now at a point where I have gotten just little bit obsessed with discovering the different dimensions of cultures and people. I do this because the more I learn the better I am able to understand myself and my place in this world. I have gone from wanting to become extremely wealthy to wanting to just do good, pure and simple. I want to keep on discovering the good in people and with enough traction start a revolution of happiness.
