Born and brought up in Salem, Tamil Nadu. studied in Ramakrishna Saradha Hr. Sec. School and Bharathi Vidhyalaya Hr. Sec. School. Obtained my Graduation and Post Graduation from Madras University.

Living in Qatar since 1998 with my family of only one wife and two daughters. Prior to my arrival in Qatar, I was working in Dubai with Emirates Trading Agency - Trading and Shipping Division for 3 years.

Presently working for Qatar Fertiliser Company, the world's largest urea producer (in terms of Quality and Quantity). Responsible for the logistics operation, which consist of 4.5 Million tones of Urea and about 1 million tones of Anhydrous Ammonia as well as 60,000 MT of Melamine (Polymer) by containers.

Qafco's logistics department is unique, as a very small group of people are successfully controlling different means of tranport to move the products (Urea, Ammonia, Melamine, Urea Formaldehyde and Aq. Ammonia) produced by Qafco. Qafco logistics is involved in Time and Voyage Chartering of Dry cargo vessels, LPG Carriers, Containers, Road transport, ISO containers etc to transport the products.

I am currently deputed to a project under Government of State of Qatar for the combined marketing of various Chemicals and Petrochemical products produced in Qatar. Six experts from various Chemical and Petro Chemical industries in Qatar are deputed for this project, to ensure smooth tranisition of marketing rights from the existing producing entities (11 companies) to one single company to be established soon by the name of QMDC (Qatar Marketing and Distribution Company).
