A 2013 batch Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer working as First Secretary in the Embassy of India, Japan. His interests include public policy, trade and commerce, and tax administration. Currently he is working on Japan-India economic partnership and improving ease-of-doing-business in India. In previous assignments, he has gained experience in handling corporate tax assessments, black money investigations, benami asset cases, international taxation, public outreach programs, and law enforcement actions.

He was awarded the Young Leaders’ Program scholarship by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), Japan in 2020. He was also awarded a scholarship by the US Department of State for a student-exchange program at University of Massachusetts.

His academic major is B.E. in Electronics and Communication. He also holds a Masters in Public Policy from GRIPS, Tokyo and a Masters in Taxation and Business Laws from NALSAR, Hyderabad.

He has organized various awareness campaigns such as Youth Leadership Summits, Paper-Bag Making event for school children, and blood donation camps. He was acknowledged by the President of India, Sh. APJ Abdul Kalam for an environment protection initiative at the 92nd Indian Science Congress.
