As a QA involved in the following roles and responsibilities
· Initiate the test planning activities for test case design and encourage the team to hold review meetings, ensure the review comments are incorporated
· Mentor QA resources on assigned projects. Reviews test status and results, Check if there might be any delays in achieving the schedule and hold discussions with testers to figure out the issues they may be facing and strive to resolve them.
· Perform Certification testing every release before deploying to production, certification includes credit card payments using NFC payment mode, cash draw verification, receipt printing, mixed payments with different cards, cash, check, BTA payments.
· Coordinate with internal/external teams for faster defect resolution.
· Coordinate with Onsite / Offshore resources, other support groups for any query and issue resolution.
· Planning and Scheduling Testing activities, attending and chairing various conference calls and meetings, to track project status and management reviews within the project
Writing, Reviewing and Executing test cases and Performing Functional, Integration and System testing.
· Participating in all aspects of testing, including test plan development, execution and delivery of well-tested solutions with short time to release.
· Mentoring other QA engineers technically and assisting them with test planning and estimates.
· Leading multiple projects and performing hands on testing independently
Performing WCAG 2.0 level Accessibility testing using Webking 6.0 and screen reader JAWS tools.
Highlighting the key blockers to release/delivery manager proactively. Escalate internally as needed and push for the resolution to avoid escalation from client/opco.
