Nicole Welsch
Bel Air, MD
My name is Nicole Welsch, I am a Health and Physical Education Major in my senior year with one more year left at Frostburg State University. I am in Phase II and will be starting my partial internship in the Fall and then completing my full internship in Spring of 2016.
I am a member of Alpha Phi Omega which is a co-ed, national service fraternity. I love to help serve my community in any way, and a quote about service that motivates me is from Gandhi which says, "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." I have three sisters, named Brittany, Kelsey, and Samantha. My second oldest sister, Kelsey lives in Iowa with her husband and has a two year old named Haley with one girl on the way named Macy. Being an aunt is very special to me because I get to watch my niece grow up and help teach her new things. Lastly, I work at a summer camp at the athletic club in my hometown over summer break as a camp counselor. This job is very rewarding because I get to work with children from all ages every day and it is also a great learning experience for when I have my own students one day.
