Naz Erdogan
Student and Filmmaker in United States
Hi, I’m Naz.
I’m a filmmaker, videographer and creative storyteller studying Film at Syracuse University, with a minor in Music Industry. My work sits at the intersection of film, music, dance and culture, and I’m passionate about creating visual stories that capture the energy and emotion behind people, performances and live experiences.
At Syracuse, I serve as the Co-Director of Productions with University Union, the official programming board of Syracuse University, where I manage capturing the live events and performances on campus. Being involved in Productions board for 2 years and now serving as the Co-Director has given me the opportunity to work behind the scenes, collaborate with other boards and experience the fast-paced process of live event videography.
Being born and raised in Turkey and pursuing my education in the United States has given me a global perspective that reflects the way I approach filmmaking and visual storytelling. Working across different environments has strengthened my ability to approach my works with curiosity, adaptability and an appreciation for diverse perspectIves.
