Salve! I answer to many names- "Mommy" to my two boys, "Magistra" to Latin students, and Natalie to my friends and colleagues.

I encourage kids to explore, create, discover, challenge themselves, & play whenever possible. My classes are an intentional blend of digital & analog, traditional & project-based learning where students can grow to be leaders in their own learning.

I am the World Languages Department Chair for Eanes ISD and also a full-time teacher. I teach Latin I, Latin V/VI AP, and English I Pre-AP at Westlake High School. As a co-sponsor for one of the largest JCL Latin Clubs in the country, we travel & compete regionally, state-wide, and nationally.

I am also a proud member of the Westlake Teacher Innovation Academy, PBS LearningMedia's Digital Innovators, and the former president of the Armadillo Classical Society- a regional organization of Classics teachers. I am the recipient of recognition such as Apple Teacher, an Eanespiration Heroes Award, a Chaparral Champion, a Golden Apple Recipient, an American Graduate Champion, and a Finalist for Westlake Educator of the Year for two years in a row. I am honored to work with and be counted among so many inspiring and amazing colleagues and students.
