Naír Carrera

Madrid

Hi everybody!

My name is Naír, and I am a Spanish woman living in Madrid.

I'm a languages enthusiast who loves travelling all around the world. And it was travelling when I found out one of my passions: teaching Spanish to foreign people. I am also an enthusiastic of new technologies, and I really enjoy putting them together to get the students keen on the ins and outs of foreign languages.

After graduating from English Philology, I moved to France to teach Spanish at the University of Perpignan and then I worked at Rugby School, a small town of Warwickshire (UK) and birthplace of rugby. After that, I came to Madrid so as to do a Master's Degree of Spanish as a foreign language at the Complutense University of Madrid. I also worked as a Pedagogical Adviser and Commercial Agent in the Publishing House Anaya ELE and in the department of European Projects at INTEF (Spanish Ministry of Education). I am also a freelance translator and PhD student. I am currently working in the eSafety team in European Schoolnet, in Brussels.
