NCSA Athletic Recruiting

chicago, IL

Many talented young people dream of participating in collegiate athletics but don't know how to reach their goals. NCSA Athletic Recruiting aims to make it easier for student athletes to connect with coaches at the colleges they are most interested in attending.

NCSA Athletic Recruiting was founded in 2000 by Chris Krause. Krause attended Vanderbilt University on a football scholarship but almost missed out on his chance to participate in collegiate athletics due to a lack of understanding of how the recruitment process worked. He started NCSA with the goal of educating and empowering young athletes.

Students can register with NCSA Athletic Recruiting to create a free profile in one of 27 different sports and subscribe to a newsletter offering tips on managing the college recruiting process. For a small fee, interested student athletes can upgrade to verified recruit status and gain access to services such as professional video editing, internship placement services, and permission-based profile distribution to participating schools. The schools that participate in NCSA include the University of Notre Dame, University of Alabama, Stanford University, Duke University, and the University of Southern California.

Students who do not have the resources to pay the membership fee are encouraged to apply for an Athleadership Grant. This grant gives deserving high school athletes complimentary membership into the verified recruit program and additional benefits such as ACT/SAT prep services powered by Kaplan. Grant recipients are selected based on their academic achievement, financial need, leadership experience, and community service activities.

NCSA Athletic Recruiting maintains an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. The company has been featured on ABC, CNN, FOX, and CBS as a valuable resource for high school student athletes.
