Natalia De Roock oversees the Fulbright, IVLP and Academic Exchange programs for the U.S. Embassy- Singapore and is the lead strategist and liaison for Emerging Thought Leaders in the East Asia Pacific Region. She is a PhD Candidate in International Education at the University of Arizona (USA). Her research examines socio-cultural perspectives and theoretical currents in international education and global exchanges with an emphasis on diversity and inclusion.

She holds a Master of Science (2007) in Mexican-American Studies and an Advanced Certificate in Middle Eastern and North African Studies.

Her expertise is institutional relations, program oversight, higher education in global contexts, people to people diplomacy, mentorship programs, and the development, implementation and evaluation of inclusive curriculum with special emphasis on Experiential Education, Inquiry- based pedagogies and Service Learning initiatives.

She has worked in First Nations, Latin America and the East Asia Pacific region extensively throughout her career. Her forte is creating cross cultural connections and relevant curriculum and programming to foster international academic diplomacy.

She's fascinated by interstitial spaces, internationalism, art and the effervescence of youth culture.
