Natalie DeRoock

Natalie DeRoock is a Communications and Government Affairs professional. She is the founder of DeRoock Strategic Communications, a boutique public relations agency emphasizing micro-business development for clients spanning North America, Asia, and Europe.

Natalie recently served her country overseas as a Public Affairs Specialist for the U.S. Department of State. She amplified global programming for U.S. higher education and research partnerships.

As a strong negotiator, Natalie is skilled at building bridges with international stakeholders. Her work with the world's best and brightest politicians, researchers, professionals, religious leaders, and scholars included the project management of notable international professional and academic exchange programming.

Natalie was the co-recipient of the University of Arizona Provost's Award for cross-disciplinary teaching excellence. Her collaborative work with the College of Science was also awarded a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant for the development of preceptorships in STEM education.

She holds a Master of Science with Dean's Honors, an Advanced Certificate in Middle Eastern and North African Studies, and an undergraduate degree in Political Science. She is proficient in several languages.

Natalie's expertise includes the East Asia Pacific, Latin America, Asian Sub-Continent, and the Middle East. She has worked extensively with First Nations and diverse groups throughout her career.

Natalie is an outstanding cross-cultural communicator, educator, and creative. She enjoys art, interfaith connections, and youth culture.
