Nicholas de Taranto

London

I was born and grew up in Düsseldorf, Germany and moved to the UK to study history and English at Oxford University. I now work and reside in West London and have been completing development research for factual TV.

I specialise in history programming and have done work for the BBC, Channel 4, National Geographic, Discovery and the CBC. That said, I have worked with arts and culture broadcasts such as BBC World Service offering The Forum.

In my own free time I enjoy writing and have been blogging for the Huffington Post since March. Additionally I try to pursue my own creative projects, such as when I helped produce and co-direct a short documentary about the German neo-Nazi village Jamel, which was selected at this year's BFI Future Film Fest.
