Nancy Duin

I work with content:

  • creating it – by copywriting
  • editing it – for print or web
  • structuring it – so it’s easy to find
  • developing strategies for dealing with web content day to day, week to week, year
to year, to ensure that it’s always up to date and useful.

What I do is the ‘art of the invisible’. After I’ve finished, you shouldn’t notice that I’ve done anything. This is because the content – on a website or in print – should read well, convey the message you want to convey and be easy to negotiate. If it’s a website, your readers should be able to do what they need to do there quickly and without fuss.

It’s often difficult to prove that what I do is worth doing – until you encounter a website or printed document that fails on one or more of the above counts. Failure like this can cost money. It can certainly cost reputation.

I can also train you so that you, too, can edit and write websites. You’ll learn how to avoid the pitfalls and take advantage of the latest research, to make your content sing.

Please feel free to contact me if you think I can help you with any of the above.
