Nathaniel Duncombe

Since coming to North Carolina Central University, I have been a part of campus orgaizations and have done community service hours. From Spring 2013 to Spring 2014, I worked as a lifeguad and a swim instructor for Campus Recreaton. My work in Campus Recreation and other Recreation organizations has been a great expereince for my Major. As a Parks and Recreation Administraton Management major, I have learned what constitues as recreation, how to facilitate and guide people to the right recreational choices for them. This semester, I competed my Praticum working at the Downtown Durham YMCA as a lifeguard and certified pool operator. From Fall 2013 to Spring 2014, I was the McBaynes Community Council Vice President. Currently, I serve as the Chidley North Community Council President. As President, I have gained valuable leadership experience through planning, and organizing community events.
