The recipient of a bachelor's degree in community studies from the University of California at Santa Cruz, Neal Martin Zeavy began his career as an assistant director and residency program coordinator at Mount Madonna Center, where he served on multiple leadership committees for the yoga and retreat center. Neal Martin Zeavy worked in this role for eight years, during which time he also briefly served as a teacher at Mount Madonna School.

Concurrently, Neal Martin Zeavy began working as a raffle director for multiple nonprofit organizations, including Community Action Marin, Special Olympics Southern California, and Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego. In 2009, he established Raffle Administration and NZ Consulting, through which he has since helped raise more than $100 million for cause-related nonprofit organizations such as schools, arts centers, and Boys & Girls Clubs.

He has been able to support such causes through his success as a serial entrepreneur. In addition to co-owning the United States' first organic fast food restaurant chain, he helped develop one of Seattle's largest independent fitness facilities.
