Earning her B.A. in Political Economy cum laude from the City University of New York, Ms. Salvaterra subsequently completed a Master's degree in Print Journalism at Columbia University. Through her studies, she developed a distinct interest in macroeconomics, which she found to reveal a great deal about human nature and social interaction.
Neanda Salvaterra currently finds monitoring the lingering effects of the global recession and ongoing credit crunch interesting. While developed economies in Europe, North America, and Asia have been significantly affected, she finds milder downward trajectories in a number of emerging markets. An avid soccer fan for most of her life, Neanda Salvaterra now focuses her sporting passions as a Formula 1 fan and go kart enthusiast.
