Grew up in New Mexico, graduated from Los Alamos High School. Attended the University of Albuquerque. After working for New Mexico State Police and Los Alamos PD, went to work at El Paso County Sheriffs Office in Colorado Springs. I then worked for Southern Pacific and Union Pacific which brought me to Omaha. Met my wife Judy, formerly Alfs, in 2001 and got interested in real estate. Judy and I own two RE/MAX offices in Omaha and I worked exclusively in commercial and investment real estate. I earned the CCIM designation and have served in several leadership roles in national and local roles. Deeply involved in building the RE/MAX commercial brand and I am currently the Chairman of the RE/MAX Commercial Advisory Board.
