Nechama Basserabie

Hi, I'm Nechama and I work as a Coach at HSC CoWorks Bondi.

I completed my HSC last year (2013) and achieved an ATAR of 99.90. The subjects I chose reflected my interests and what I can imagine myself spending the rest of my life doing - English Advanced, Extension 1 and Extension 2, French, Hebrew, Visual Arts and Economics.

I've deferred university to go travelling for a year but will be doing a Bachelor of Arts/Art Theory at UNSW in 2015.

My biggest passion is art; I'm absolutely fascinated by the conceptual side of art and the contexts that give rise to certain artworks as well as the emotional complexities of different artists and their personal histories.

I also love reading, practising French, drawing and writing the occasional short story; I usually have some creative project going at one point or another!

My goal is to build a successful and challenging career for myself doing something that makes me happy.

Already I'm grateful to CoWorks for giving me the opportunity to work with so many amazing people and pass on the lessons I learnt from my own HSC experience.
