Ned Canty

I am an opera director, and General Director of Opera Memphis. I live in Memphis, TN with my wife and two dogs. When I am not working, I split my time between gardening and RPGs. Fun Facts: -I fractured my spine at 21 working as a stunt man at Six Flags Great Adventure. -I am too tall to ride most bumper car rides. -I was an award winning young numismatist, profiled in Coin World, Numismatic News, and the NYTimes. Then I discovered girls. Apparently a 1909 S-VDB Lincoln Head Cent and an award winning display of Hong Kong Paper Money don't get you many ladies. So out the window with that, and in the window with doing plays. -My last house was built in 1826, and was originally a German drinking club. -My current house was designed by Memphis architect Neander Woods, and built in 1905. -My grandfather ran Eddie Maxwell's Tune Inn, a favorite nightclub for the old Yankees. I grew up knowing Babe Ruth as the fat man next to my grandfather in dozens of photos.
