I’m Nedda Ledgerwood, a family law attorney, mediator, and advocate for children based in San Jose, California. I founded my law firm in 2005 after deciding I wanted the flexibility to build a meaningful career while starting a family with my husband. What began as a shared office space in Sunnyvale has grown into a practice centered on helping people navigate divorce and family transitions with honesty, compassion, and practical guidance.

My work focuses on representing individuals in divorce, helping families resolve disputes through mediation, and serving as counsel for children whose lives are affected by family conflict. One of the most important parts of my career has been representing children. I want every child I work with to know they are loved, valued, and important, even when the adults in their lives are struggling to find common ground.

Clients often describe me as direct, organized, compassionate, and a strong advocate. I believe people deserve clear answers and realistic expectations, so I am straightforward in my communication and committed to following through on what I say. I want clients to feel heard and understood while also receiving strong legal representation.
