Neela Ahmed is an autobiographical artist who channels emotion through color. Born on February 4, 2005, in Vederganj Thana of Shariatpur District, Bangladesh, her artistic journey began not on canvas, but on the silent walls of her childhood home. Each stroke was a quiet reflection of her inner world—intimate, resilient, and deeply personal.
Currently, Neela is pursuing her second year of honors in Political Science at Shariatpur Government College. Alongside her academic life, art has become an inseparable part of her identity. Her paintings often feature faceless portraits, abstract compositions, and the quiet solitude of inner reflection—works that do not merely depict, but evoke.
Her parents, Milon Hawlader and Mitu Begum, have been her earliest supporters, witnessing her growth from silent sketches to expressive canvases. Her husband, Owahid Neel, a passionate art lover, continues to inspire and accompany her in her creative journey. Their bond is not only familial but artistic—where emotion, imagination, and color blend seamlessly.
Rongtuli Aar Aami is Neela’s first full-length autobiographical art memoir. In it, she shares the story of discovering her inner artist, gaining social recognition, and dreaming of a future shaped by creativity. Each chapter concludes with one of her original paintings, visually echoing the emotional tone of her writing.
Neela believes that art is not just meant to be seen—it is meant to be remembered. Her dream is to one day see her work displayed in international exhibitions and to inspire other women artists to find courage in her story.
