Juliana Neelbauer
I have been active in the D/M/V tech communities since 2008, when I began hosting the Social Matchbox start-up launch event series that introduced local investors, founders and major media and co-founded staffmagnet LLC. Check out our press and history.
Since then, I opened a boutique software and corporate law firm, Neelbauer Law, in response to software companies and startups which needed legal services offered by attorneys who have run a company and programmed code. I found myself uniquely positioned to fiill that void as a veteran of the consumer Internet and enterprise software industries, as a lawyer who has coded, and as a founder of a successful business.
As a tech-rooted corporate attorney, I serve new and high-growth businesses with transparently-priced legal services, from incorporations, dissolutions, partner changes, equity planning and options pool creation to trademark registration and licensing, software audits, retained counsel, contractor agreements and compliance, employmee agreements, and contract negotiations.
In my free time, I advise Startup Shell Inc., a student-owned and student-run incubator at UMCP, the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship Legal Office Hours program, and SortIQ, Inc., a team-building and workforce development software company founded by my husband, Robert Neelbauer.
