Neeshad holds a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and resides in Doha, Qatar.

He has been an educator/speaker and activist since university days on environmental education as well as working on numerous grassroots campaigns for various social justice issues that he cares about deeply. His continuous enthusiasm and care for environment, climate change advocacy lead him to Co-Found AYCM (Arab Youth Climate Movement is a regional NGO) Qatari chapter.

He is a youth environmental activist and outspoken climate change advocate, who campaigns extensively to raise the awareness about Climate change, Water/Energy conservation and Sustainable Development. Neeshad has combined his interest in activism and social change with his passion for working with youth both online & offline, recognizing the passion and power youth have to bring about a more just world, and the opportunity to support them through his various campaigns.

He is passionate about addressing the climate crisis and is currently serving as National Coordinator for Arab Youth Climate Movement Qatar (Qatari NGO), Middle East Manager for CliMates (French NGO), Focal point Qatar CAN Arab World (Arab Regional NGO), and Regional Representative for citizens Climate Lobby (US NGO).

He has campaigned for social causes like education for all, gender equality and human rights primarily focused on improving the circumstances of and opportunities for Arab women. This led him to join as Communication Manager with Womenpreneur, A MENA regional not-for-profit organization that offers programs on women empowerment, entrepreneurship and business development as well as UN Women with Youth member, A UN Inter Agency Network for Youth Development. He is also an active member with numerous social & volunteer organizations in Qatar and have written numerous article on various online and offline platforms.
